HB 1445: State Correctional System
GENERAL BILL by Corrections ; Trovillion ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Boyd ; Kilmer
State Correctional System; provides that property leased to Correctional Privatization Commission is owned by commission pursuant to term of lease for certain purposes; prohibits escape or attempted escape by inmates in private correctional facilities under contract with state, county, or municipality; provides penalties; authorizes Correctional Medical Authority to review & advise Correctional Privatization Commission on inmate health care, etc. Amends FS.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
