GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Meek ; Campbell
Sexual Violence in Prisons; creates "Protection Against Sexual Violence in Florida Jails & Prisons Act"; requires Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission to develop course re sexual assault identification & prevention as part of correctional officer training program; authorizes DOC & county & municipal detention facilities to provide orientation program & counseling; prohibits sexual misconduct by employees of county or municipal detention facilities, etc. Amends FS.
