SB 2046: DOC/Temporary House Prisoners
GENERAL BILL by Thomas
DOC/Temporary House Prisoners; authorizes board of county commissioners to contract with DOC to temporarily house county prisoners in state correctional facility; requires that such contract be approved pursuant to ordinance adopted by extraordinary vote of board; requires that county prisoner be transported by county, except in case of medical emergency; provides that penalty imposed for escape applies to county prisoner who fails to remain within state correctional facility, etc.
