Guardianship; provides certain relatives ability to petition court re removal of guardian; provides legislative intent to establish Statewide Public Guardianship Office; provides for said office within Elderly Affairs Dept.; provides for executive director to establish offices of public guardian & to appoint or contract with public guardians; authorizes credit & criminal investigations of nonprofessional or public guardians, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 10/01/1999 except as otherwise provided
