SB 2136: Hand-held Laser Pointers

GENERAL BILL by Saunders

Hand-held Laser Pointers; provides that it is 2nd-degree misdemeanor for person to knowingly & willfully shine beam of laser lighting device with intent to harass or in such manner as to cause person to believe that firearm is pointed at him or her & that it is 3rd-degree felony to knowingly & willfully shine such device at law enforcement officer in such manner as to cause said officer to believe that firearm is pointed at him or her, etc. Creates 784.062.
