CS/SB 2242: Civil-law Notaries
GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Grant
Civil-law Notaries; provides for issuance of certified copies of certificates of commission; expands & clarifies Secretary of State's rulemaking powers re authentic acts, acknowledgments, oaths, solemnizations of marriage, & discipline, testing, bonding, & insurance requirements for civil-law notaries; authorizes issuance of certificates of notarial authority & Apostilles to said notaries, etc. Amends 117.103, 118.10; creates 118.12.
