CS/SB 2434: Charter Schools
GENERAL BILL by Education ; Kirkpatrick ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Horne ; King
Charter Schools; provides date for district school boards to receive charter school applications; authorizes municipal-sponsored charter schools to give enrollment preference to students residing within limits of sponsoring municipality; prohibits charter school from hiring certain persons who have resigned or have been dismissed for good cause; revises requirements re charter school use of capital outlay funds, etc. Amends Ch. 228, 235.42.
