SB 708: School Readiness Act
GENERAL BILL by Kirkpatrick
School Readiness Act; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/CS/S366,382,708) creates said act; creates Fla. Partnership for School Readiness, Inc.; requires that partnership prepare system for measuring school readiness; provides for voluntary establishment of county school readiness coalitions; requires Healthy Kids Corporation to work cooperatively with said partnership; provides for special readiness grants to be awarded in pilot programs in two counties, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $1,050,000.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise expressly provided
