Broward Co. Assault Weapons Ban Act; creates said act; prohibits sale, offer or display for sale, giving, loan, transfer, acquisition, or possession of any assault weapon within Broward County, Florida; requires persons in lawful possession of such weapon to apply for certificate of possession by 10/01/2001; prohibits sale or transfer of such weapon on or after 10/01/2001, to any person within state other than licensed gun dealer, etc.
