GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Silver
Correctional Work Programs; clarifies application of sovereign immunity re corporation that operates correctional work programs; revises requirements for lease of facilities by corporation; deletes requirement that lease be approved by Attorney General; deletes certain limitations on transfer of operating losses & requirements for employing personnel of DOC; provides for insurance of property leased by corporation, etc. Amends Ch. 946, 957.04.
