GENERAL BILL by Jones
Parole; provides for nonviolent offenders convicted of possessing controlled substance to be released on parole; prohibits release of prisoner convicted as violent career criminal, habitual violent felony offender, or habitual criminal offender; provides that person convicted of sale, manufacture, or transportation of controlled substance is not eligible for parole; requires that paroled prisoners participate in drugtreatment programs, etc.
