SB 2234: Health Care Services
GENERAL BILL by Saunders
Health Care Services; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/S706,2234) provides that authorization for covered service provided by HMO's physician, employee, or contractee is binding on HMO & payment may not be denied; requires HMOs to notify contract providers that claim has been received within specified time; provides conditions under which HMO may contest contract provider's claim; provides for adoption of clean claims standards, etc. Amends Ch. 641.
