SB 2290: School Improvement
GENERAL BILL by Mitchell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Dyer
School Improvement; exempts certain students from statewide assessment program; prohibits school that has shown at least 50% increase in performance from being designated as performance grade category "F"; revises method for determining school performance categories; establishes minimum percentage salary increase required to be paid by district to employees who demonstrate outstanding performance, etc. Amends 229.57, 230.23, 231.17, 236.08104.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
