SB 2294: Medicaid Fraud Control Unit
GENERAL BILL by Brown-Waite
Medicaid Fraud Control Unit; requires that clinical records be furnished to Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of Legal Affairs Dept. upon request; allows patient records to be furnished to unit; provides that certain confidentiality provisions do not limit subpoena power of Attorney General; clarifies Attorney General's power to subpoena medical records re Medicaid recipients; provides that certain confidential records held by DBPR must be provided to unit, etc. Amends FS.
