CS/HB 1073: Behavioral Health Care Service

GENERAL BILL by Child & Family Security ; Murman ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Argenziano ; Detert ; Sobel ; Fiorentino

Behavioral Health Care Service; provides legislative intent re accreditation & cost-efficiency of substance abuse & mental health service providers; defines term "behavioral health care services"; requires accreditation of certain entities to be accepted in lieu of licensure, administrative, & program monitoring requirements; requires establishment of interagency workgroup to report on state substance abuse & mental health master plan, etc. Amends Chs. 394, 397, 409.
