CS/CS/SB 1208: Health Insurance
GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Banking and Insurance ; Latvala
Health Insurance; amends definitions used in Fla. Comprehensive Health Association Act; revises criteria for eligibility for coverage from association; authorizes association to place individual with case manager who determines health care system or provider; requires insurers to be members of association & to be subject to assessments for operating expenses; makes legislative finding that provisions of this act fulfill important state interest, etc. Amends Ch. 627.
