CS/HB 131: Correctional Facilities

GENERAL BILL by Council for Healthy Communities ; Harrington ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Dick ; Cantens ; Fiorentino ; Bean ; Spratt ; Mahon ; Dockery

Correctional Facilities; provides for reclassification of offenses of assault or battery on staff member of sexually violent predators detention or commitment facility; defines offense of battery of facility employee by throwing, tossing, or expelling certain fluids or materials on certain employees, so as to cause or attempt to cause such employees to come into contact with fluid or material, etc. Creates 784.074,.078; amends 806.13, 921.0022, 945.35; reenacts 901.15.
