HB 1507: Viatical Settlement Contracts
GENERAL BILL by Bennett
Viatical Settlement Contracts; provides additional responsibilities of viatical settlement provider; clarifies application of licensing requirements to viatical settlement providers; provides grace period for certain unlicensed viatical settlement providers under certain circumstances; excludes from application certain contracts providing for accelerating death benefits under certain circumstances. Amends 626.9911,.9924,.99245, 627.601; creates 626.99297.
