GENERAL BILL by Kilmer ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn ; Maygarden ; Goodlette ; Fiorentino ; Melvin ; Mealor ; Harrington ; Miller ; Bense
Outsourcing; changes membership of State Council on Competitive Government; provides that certain business entities shall be given preference when bidding to provide services previously provided by state agencies; authorizes each state agency to bid on any contract for provision of services previously provided by any state agency; prohibits council from awarding contracts unless it determines certain cost savings, etc. Amends 14.203; creates 14.2031,.2032,.2033.
