HB 1583: Elections
GENERAL BILL by Frankel ; Smith ; Gelber
Elections; requires that central voter file administered by Election Division of Dept. of State immediately reflect changes to info in file & that such changes be immediately available statewide to users of file; requires division to adopt rules establishing standards for voter education & training programs to be provided by supervisor of elections in each county; places opening & closing of polls on Eastern Standard Time throughout state, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $40,000,000.
Effective Date: 01/01/2002 except as otherwise provided
