SB 1782: Medical Negligence

GENERAL BILL by Campbell

Medical Negligence; provides for mandatory mediation; deletes authority for arbitration; provides for notice to licensees of Health Dept. & AHCA; provides for liability of health care facilities; provides restriction on who may give medical expert opinion; provides that all participants in presuit investigation are civilly liable for acts of intentional misrepresentation, etc. Amends Ch. 766.
