CS/CS/SB 1814: Substance Abuse Treatment Programs
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Judiciary ; Burt
Substance Abuse Treatment Programs; provides legislative intent re development of treatment-based drug courts; requires each judicial circuit to establish one or more said courts within any of divisions of circuit; creates Fla. Association of Drug Court Professionals; provides for defendant to be transferred to drug-treatment program in another county; provides pretrial substance abuse treatment & intervention program, etc. Amends 910.035, 948.08; creates 948.16.
