GENERAL BILL by Commerce and Economic Opportunities ; Geller
Consumer Protection; includes business or commercial entity within definition of term "consumer" for purposes of Consumer Protection law; incorporates interpretations re Federal Trade Commission Act; authorizes action on behalf of governmental entity for damages caused by violation of specified provisions; provides for waiver of civil penalties if restitution is made for actual damages to governmental entity, etc. Amends Ch. 501.
