GENERAL BILL by Commerce and Economic Opportunities ; Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Mitchell

Medical Records/Solicitation; provides legislative findings & intent; prohibits use of patient's medical records for purposes of solicitation & marketing without specific written release or authorization; provides for criminal penalties; requires DOI to adopt rules governing use of consumer's nonpublic personal financial & health information; provides standards for rules. Amends 456.057, 395.3025, 400.1415; creates 626.9651.
