GENERAL BILL by Dawson

Health Insurance/Eye Exams; requires health insurance policies & health maintenance contracts to provide for one routine eye examination for certain children by licensed ophthalmologist or licensed optometrist selected by patient; provides for medically necessary followup visits; provides for cost of examination to be covered by insurer or health maintenance organization. Creates 627.6414,.65753; amends 641.31.
