SB 2226: Insurance/Assisted Living Facilities

GENERAL BILL by Holzendorf

Insurance/Assisted Living Facilities; provides that nursing homes & assisted living facilities are immediately eligible for coverage in Fla. Property & Casualty Joint Underwriting Association; eliminates provisions tying initial rates of association to rates contained in Insurance Services Office filing with DOI; creates Long-Term-Care-Facility Casualty Joint Underwriting Plan; provides for risk-management program, etc. Amends 627.351. APPROPRIATION.
