Manatee Co./Fire & Rescue District; provides for merger of Cedar Hammock Fire Control District & Southern Manatee Fire & Rescue District pursuant to certain provision; creates South Manatee Fire & Rescue District; provides district boundaries; provides for election & duties of governing board of said district; provides for non-ad valorem assessments & impact fees; authorizes employees of said district to exercise certain choices re retirement plans, etc.
