HB 321: Motorist Profiling Evaluation

GENERAL BILL by Bendross-Mindingall ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fields ; Slosberg

Motorist Profiling Evaluation; creates Florida Motorist Profiling Evaluation Task Force; provides restrictions on use of data collected under act; requires state & local law enforcement agencies to develop policies & procedures that prohibit biased profiling or discriminatory practices as primary factor in determining whether driver of motor vehicle should be stopped for routine traffic violation, etc. Creates 943.1759; amends 943.1758. APPROPRIATION: $350,000.
