GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Campbell
Movers Regulation Act; creates "Movers Regulation Act"; prohibits person from engaging in business as mover without obtaining operating permit from Agriculture & Consumer Services Dept.; authorizes department to bring action to recover against mover's bond or financial security; requires that mover prepare written contract before performing any service on behalf of shipper; requires that mover accept certain forms of payment, etc. Amends 895.02.
