CS/SB 360: Cruelty to Animals
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Saunders
Cruelty to Animals; provides additional acts which constitute cruelty to animal; provides that any person convicted of such violation, where court determines that violation includes knowing & intentional torture or torment of animal that injures, mutilates, or kills animal, shall, in addition to any other sentence imposed, be ordered to complete anger management treatment program; provides fine & period of incarceration, etc. Amends 828.12; reenacts various FS sections.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
