CS/CS/SB 366: DNA Evidence
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Criminal Justice ; Villalobos ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Smith
DNA Evidence; provides for examination of DNA evidence collected at time crime is investigated; provides procedure under which defendant who has been found guilty may petition trial court to order examination of DNA evidence; provides for preservation of evidence for which testing of DNA may be requested; requires FDLE to add certain felony offenses in scheduled order to DNA data bank's enumerated offenses, etc. Amends Ch. 943; creates 925.11.
