HB 625: Security for Public Deposits
GENERAL BILL by Bean ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Kendrick
Security for Public Deposits; revises provisions requiring collateral for public deposits; prohibits qualified public depository from acting as its own custodian; authorizes custodian to withdraw as custodian under certain circumstances; clarifies grounds for suspension or disqualification of qualified public depository; provides for deposit of draws on letters of credit into Public Deposits Trust Fund, etc. Amends Ch. 280; creates 280.071.
Effective Date: 10/01/2001 except as otherwise provided
