CS/SB 1670: Security for Public Deposits
GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Constantine
Security for Public Deposits; revises general provisions re collateral for public deposits; prescribes requirements for Federal Reserve Bank agreements; specifies grounds for suspending or disqualifying qualified public depository; provides for deposit into Public Deposits Trust Fund of draw on letters of credit held as collateral; provides collateral requirements for letters of credit issued by Federal Home Loan Bank, etc. Amends Ch. 280; creates 280.071.
Effective Date: 10/01/2001 except as otherwise provided
