SB 700: Health Care/HMOs
GENERAL BILL by Campbell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Crist
Health Care/HMOs; requires HMOs to provide for resolution of grievances brought by subscribers; requires HMOs to establish informal appeal process; provides that HMO is liable for damages for harm caused by failure to exercise ordinary care; requires that HMO provide procedure to allow subscriber to obtain drugs that are not included in organization's drug formulary, etc. Repeals 641.513; amends 627.419, 641.28.
