GENERAL BILL by Elder & Long-Term Care ; Hogan

Elderly Persons & Disabled Adults; defines term "position of trust & confidence"; prescribes civil remedies for theft & other offenses in which victim is elderly person or disabled adult; provides that violation of patient rights is not cause of action under act; provides for continuation of cause of action upon death of elderly person or disabled adult; authorizes court to advance trial on docket which involves victim who is elderly person or disabled adult. Amends 772.11, 825.101.
