Schools/Suspension; revises definition of term "in-school suspension" to include additional alternative program; provides funding for establishment of School-based Alternative to Suspension Programs (SASPs); provides process for applying to Education Commissioner for funds to establish & conduct SASP; provides program requirements; requires annual report; provides for future repeal. Amends 228.041; creates 230.23155. APPROPRIATION: $1,875,000.
