SB 122: DNA Evidence
GENERAL BILL by Villalobos
DNA Evidence; provides for examination of DNA evidence collected at time crime is investigated if defendant pleads guilty or nolo contendere to crime & is sentenced by court; provides procedure under which defendant may petition trial court to order such examination; provides guidelines for seeking postsentencing testing of DNA evidence; requires that court make certain findings, etc. Amends 925.11; reenacts 943.3251.
