GENERAL BILL by Health Regulation ; Farkas ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Alexander ; Haridopolos ; Maygarden
Certificates of Need; exempts health services, long-term care hospital services, new construction, or certain tertiary health services programs from certificate-of-need review requirements for existing health facilities, provided licensed bed capacity is not exceeded; requires exempt programs to meet specified requirements; requires AHCA to adopt rules & monitor programs for compliance; provides conditions for expiration of exemption, etc. Amends 408.036.
