CS/SB 1714: Nursing Homes/Electronic Monitoring
GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Brown-Waite
Nursing Homes/Electronic Monitoring; requires AHCA to conduct pilot project to demonstrate use of electronic monitoring equipment in nursing homes; establishes requirements for nursing homes participating in pilot project; establishes procedures for use of said equipment; provides for conditional consent to monitoring; prohibits admission of tapes as evidence in civil litigation against nursing home, licensed health care practitioner, or staff of nursing home, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
