GENERAL BILL by Comprehensive Planning, Local and Military Affairs ; Futch

Homestead Exemption/Persons 65/Older; amends provision which allows counties & municipalities to grant such exemption; provides requirements re taxpayer's statement of household income & supporting documents; revises submission date for such documents; authorizes random audits of such statements; provides requirements re release of tax information to property appraiser; provides penalties & provides for lien for improperly taking such exemption, etc. Amends 196.075.
