SB 2158: Sexually Violent Offenders
GENERAL BILL by Crist
Sexually Violent Offenders; authorizes person held in secure facility under certain provisions, to file petition for habeas corpus; provides for response & evidentiary proceeding; prohibits person from filing petition for habeas corpus in commitment proceedings; provides that Legal Affairs Dept. & its officers & employees are immune from civil liability for good-faith conduct under certain provision, etc. Creates 394.9215; amends 394.923.
