SB 2268: Youthful Offenders
GENERAL BILL by Smith
Youthful Offenders; provides that court may not sentence as youthful offenders certain offenders who have pled nolo contendere or guilty to, or been found guilty of, capital felonies, life felonies, first-degree felonies, or second-degree felonies involving use or threatened use of force or violence; increases maximum period of commitment of youthful offender to custody of DOC, etc. Amends Ch. 958, 951.231.
