GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Brown-Waite
Patient Safety Improvement Act; creates said act; creates Florida Center for Patient Safety at University of South Florida & Florida State University; requires center to coordinate research concerning patient safety; requires that center conduct research, perform evaluations, & provide technical assistance to health care providers, patient & their families, & policymakers; requires center to establish State Patient Safety Database to use in analyzing & disseminating information, etc.
