SB 472: Drug Offenders
GENERAL BILL by Miller
Drug Offenders; requires that court place certain first-time, nonviolent offenders convicted of possessing cannabis or other controlled substances into drug-offender probation; provides that court may place nonviolent offender into such probation or sentence offender to term of incarceration following second conviction of such drug possession; provides for revocation of probation & imposition of sentence if offender violates terms & conditions of probation.
