JOINT RESOLUTION by Comprehensive Planning, Local and Military Affairs ; Brown-Waite ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cowin

Homestead Property/Elderly Housing; constitutional amendment to allow counties to exempt from taxation increase in assessed value of homestead property resulting from constructing living quarters for property owner's parent or grandparent or spouse who is 62 years old or older & to limit amount of such exemption to increase in assessed value resulting from such construction or 20 percent of total assessed value of property as improved, whichever is less. Amends s. 4, Art. VII.
