SB 542: Right-of-way Acquisition

GENERAL BILL by Transportation

Right-of-way Acquisition; prohibits court from awarding expert witness fees & costs to defendant in action in eminent domain if final judgment is equal to or less than last written settlement offer; authorizes DOT to include right-of-way services as part of design-build contracts; eliminates requirement for advance acquisition of all rights-of-way for turnpike project before making final determination of economic feasibility, etc. Amends Chs. 73, 206, 337, 338.
