Veterans/Amphibious Training Center; recognizes & honors troops of United States Armed Forces who were involved in amphibious training at Camp Gordon Johnston by which they were equipped to stand against forces of tyranny during World War II & expresses special, heartfelt gratitude to members of United States Army 4th Infantry Division for their sacrificial efforts in invasion of Normandy in final push to end war in Europe.
