SB 92: Youthful Offenders
GENERAL BILL by Geller
Youthful Offenders; authorizes court to sentence offenders of specified age or younger to youthful offender facility of DOC if offender is found guilty of, or pleads nolo contendere or guilty to, first-degree felony, life felony, or capital felony; provides certain additional requirements & limitations re sentencing such offender; requires that dept. supervise offender released on community supervision under act, etc. Creates 958.041; amends 958.04.
