SB 34-E: Fraud Prevention Unit
GENERAL BILL by Burt
Fraud Prevention Unit; creates said unit within Attorney General's Office to improve & coordinate state's response to fraud & related crimes; requires unit to establish Statewide Complaint Receipt & Referral Center to collect, refer, & analyze information concerning fraud; requires unit to coordinate its investigations with other law enforcement agencies & victim-assistance programs; prohibits unit from providing legal representation to victims of fraud, etc.
