GENERAL BILL by Byrd ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Baxley ; Jennings

Liability; prescribes applicability of provisions re comparative fault to boards of trustees; provides venue in actions brought against boards of trustees; defines terms "family member" & "family residential or custodial care"; authorizes compensation awards for professional or family residential or custodial care; revises requirements for assessments used for certain supervised personnel, etc. Amends 766.112,.302,.31,.314, 768.28, 626.852.

Effective Date: 01/07/2003 except ss. 5-9 shall take effect upon becoming law
